Seeking a full-time Palliative Medicine physician to join Providence Connections, an inpatient consult service serving the Portland, Oregon metro area. A successful candidate will have completed a Hospice and Palliative Fellowship program and be board-certified through ABHPM. About the Program:

Providence Connections is a palliative care consultation service that has a team of experts who help patients and their families find needed resources to control symptoms associated with their illness while providing compassionate support. The team of physicians, nurse practitioners, palliative care nurses, clinical social workers and chaplains work collaboratively around high-risk heart failure and other conditions with Providence Heart Institute, as well as with Providence Cancer Center.

Providence Connections is a Palliative Care consultation service for patients living with a serious illness. This interdisciplinary group helps patients and their families find needed resources to control symptoms associated with their illness and maximize quality of life, all while providing compassionate support. Teams of physicians, nurse practitioners, Palliative Care nurses, clinical social workers and chaplains work collaboratively with all members of patients' care teams to provide holistic care.
