Full Job Description
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Hand Surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or eligible for such certification.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction of medical students, fellows, and orthopedic surgery residents.
Clinical responsibilities may include building a practice in hand surgery at Presbyterian Medical Center, with additional duties in orthopedic surgery depending on candidate training and may include on call responsibilities.
Applicants who have completed an accredited hand surgery fellowship are preferred. The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
