Description
Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end functional and technical design workshops across core Oracle Fusion Financials and SCM modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Subledger Accounting / FAH, and Inventory Management.
  • Analyze current-state business processes and define future-state solution designs aligned with Oracle Fusion Cloud best practices.
  • Perform hands-on functional configuration for Oracle Fusion modules:
    • Financials: AP, AR, GL, FA, FAH
    • SCM: Purchasing (PO), Inventory
  • Translate business requirements into Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and collaborate with technical teams on Technical Design Specifications (TDS).
  • Design, develop, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC),
  • including:
    • Fusion-to-Fusion and Fusion-to-non-Oracle systems
    • REST/SOAP web services, FBDI, file-based and event-driven integrations
  • Validate and support end-to-end accounting flows, ensuring accurate posting from subledgers to GL using Subledger Accounting / FAH.
  • Configure and support supplier, customer, item, and chart of accounts structures, including accounting rules and control setups.
  • Support Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) integration touchpoints and financial impacts.
  • Participate in data migration efforts including suppliers, customers, open AP/AR balances, assets, inventory on-hand, and historical transactions.
  • Create and execute test scripts for Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and end-to-end financial/SCM cycles.
  • Provide hands-on support during cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production stabilization.
  • Partner with reporting teams to validate OTBI and BI Publisher reports for financial and operational data.
  • Assess and manage impacts of quarterly Oracle Fusion Cloud updates, including regression validation and issue remediation.
  • Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical integration teams.

  • Experience delivering large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations
  • Proven experience in techno-functional roles, covering both configuration and integration design.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting flows, subledger accounting, period close, asset accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestration, lookups, connections, and fault handling.
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, and file-based integration patterns.
  • Experience supporting multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-region Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report business processes.
  • Experience with data migration and reconciliation between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
  • Prior experience supporting financial audits, controls, and compliance.
  • Preferred Certifications in Oracle Cloud Financials Certification (AP, GL, FA, AR)
  • Preferred Certifications in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certification.
