Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Oracle DBA with expertise in GoldenGate replication to develop and support data integration solutions.
This role involves working on critical projects such as upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery, while also ensuring operational stability and security.
The ideal candidate will have experience in scripting, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to support enterprise-level data environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and implement data integration solutions using Oracle GoldenGate and Qlik (Attunity).
- Provide operational support during customer events such as releases and maintenance.
- Support major initiatives including system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Create and maintain scripts or code to enable monitoring and automation of database operations.
- Log, schedule, and track changes using change management tools.
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues to restore service promptly.
- Incorporate security and compliance considerations into all technical decisions and daily responsibilities.
Required Qualifications- Prior experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
- Basic understanding of database platforms such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Unix shell scripts or Perl.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated teamwork, decision-making, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Commitment to integrating security best practices into daily work.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Qlik (Attunity) or similar data integration tools.
- Exposure to enterprise-level change management and incident response processes.
Education: Bachelors Degree
