Overview:Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financial Accounting Functional Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Receivable (AR),
Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and Period Close processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting accounting operations, troubleshooting functional issues,
performing reconciliations, and collaborating with technical teams to resolve data and integration-related problems.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Accounting- Configure, support, and maintain Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) processes.
- Manage journal processing, posting, allocation, and ledger maintenance activities.
- Support Subledger Accounting (SLA) configuration and accounting rule management.
- Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
Accounts Receivable (AR)- Support customer invoicing, receipt processing, adjustments, and revenue-related transactions.
- Monitor AR transactions and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist business users with AR process-related issues and system queries.
Fixed Assets- Support the complete asset lifecycle, including additions, transfers, adjustments, retirements, and depreciation.
- Ensure accurate asset accounting and reconciliation between subledger and general ledger.
- Support period-end asset close activities and reporting.
Cash Management- Manage bank account administration and cash management activities.
- Support bank statement processing and cash reconciliation activities.
- Investigate and resolve cash management exceptions and transaction mismatches.
Period Close & Reconciliations- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Perform General Ledger, subledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze financial transactions and investigate reconciliation differences.
- Ensure timely completion of close activities and issue resolution.
Financial Reporting- Support statutory, management, and operational financial reporting requirements.
- Validate financial data accuracy and ensure reporting integrity.
- Assist stakeholders in generating and analyzing financial reports.
Functional Support & Issue Resolution- Provide production support for Oracle Fusion Financial modules.
- Troubleshoot accounting and transaction-related functional issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Document business processes, functional designs, and solution recommendations.
Integration & Technical Coordination- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve data conversion, interface, and integration issues.
- Analyze inbound and outbound financial transactions across integrated applications.
- Support testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful issue resolution.
Skill Requirements- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Hands-on experience with Fixed Assets and Cash Management modules.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and period-end close activities.
- Experience performing reconciliations and financial reporting analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot accounting and transaction-processing issues.
- Experience supporting integrations and resolving data-related problems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
