Location: Denton, TX

As the Operations Manager - Project Delivery & Manufacturing, you will play a critical leadership role in supporting the ramp up of our new Radioligand Therapy manufacturing site in Denton, Texas. This unique opportunity places you at the intersection of project delivery, operational readiness, and manufacturing leadership, where you will build the foundation for a high-performing manufacturing organization while driving startup readiness, workforce development, cross-functional integration, and commercial launch success. As the site transitions into operations, you will lead Manufacturing Operations and help create a culture of safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement that supports patients around the world.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational readiness, startup planning, and commercialization activities for the Denton manufacturing site.
  • Support the ramp up of Novartis' new Radioligand Therapy manufacturing site in Denton, Texas.
  • Drive cross-functional project delivery, governance, and operational integration across site workstreams.
  • Build manufacturing capabilities through workforce planning, training, onboarding, and organizational development.
  • Lead Manufacturing Operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives.
  • Develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish systems, processes, and performance metrics that enable successful commercial manufacturing operations.


Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Military Science, or a related discipline.
  • 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, logistics, supply chain, project management, military, or another complex operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs, operational initiatives, or large-scale projects.
  • Experience developing operational readiness programs, workforce strategies, training plans, or organizational buildout activities.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in dynamic environments while driving operational excellence and performance improvement.
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to influence across functions.


Desirable Requirements
  • Experience supporting startup, operational readiness, manufacturing operations, or organizational buildout activities.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, Good Manufacturing Practice, or another regulated manufacturing environment.


The salary for this position is expected to range between $98,700 and $183,300 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
