About the Role (Job Summary)

McKesson is seeking an Operations Supervisor 4 to lead daily distribution center operations within inbound replenishment, outbound fulfillment, inventory, put-away, shipping, receiving, and related warehouse workflows. This first-level people leader will coordinate and supervise hourly associates, drive productivity and quality performance, and use operational data to make sound, fact-based decisions that support accurate order fulfillment and efficient customer service.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on warehouse or distribution operations experience, strong frontline leadership capability, and the ability to coach teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires a visible leader who can build engagement, reinforce safe and consistent work practices, and deliver results through others while partnering effectively with peer supervisors and cross-functional teams.

SHIFT: 4X10 (Monday-Thursday 7PM Start)

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations for assigned inbound, replenishment, outbound, inventory, put-away, shipping, receiving, induction, or order fulfillment functions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates by setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and supporting an inclusive, high-accountability team environment.
  • Drive achievement of productivity, labor, quality, safety, attendance, and service-level goals using established standard operating procedures and operational best practices.
  • Review labor management system reports, warehouse management system data, and other performance reporting to identify trends, address gaps, and coach associates to improved results.
  • Make timely, data-informed decisions to support workflow planning, staffing, throughput, inventory accuracy, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with other supervisors, operations leaders, inventory teams, and support functions to coordinate work, resolve process issues, and meet daily business objectives.
  • Support associate onboarding, training, engagement, recognition, performance documentation, corrective action, and record keeping in alignment with company policies.
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and professional work environment by reinforcing company standards, equipment practices, and operational controls.
Basic Requirements
  • Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.
  • Experience leading or coordinating daily work for hourly associates in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and/or SharePoint, to review information, communicate updates, or support operational reporting.
  • Experience using operational data, performance reports, or production metrics to monitor results and support business decisions.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 4+ years of operations, warehouse, distribution center, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment experience.
  • 2+ years of people leadership, supervisory, team lead, or equivalent frontline leadership experience.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems, RF tools, labor management systems, E1/RF Web, Smartsheet, automated storage and retrieval systems, pick-to-light technology, or similar distribution technologies.
  • Knowledge of inventory processes such as transfers, adjustments, slotting, location profiles, replenishment triggers, and cycle count support.
  • Experience coaching performance using productivity, labor, quality, safety, or attendance metrics.
  • Experience with interviewing, onboarding, associate engagement, performance evaluation, discipline, and record keeping.
  • Equipment certification or experience operating order picker, reach truck, pallet rider, or similar warehouse equipment; ability to obtain required certification if not currently certified.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or process improvement training.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, compliance expectations, or federal workplace regulations.
Description of Travel or In-Office and Physical Requirements
  • This is an on-site distribution center role performed in a high-energy warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to work assigned shifts, including days, weekends, and overtime as business needs require, particularly during high-volume periods.
  • Role may require regular time on the warehouse floor, including walking, standing, and supporting operational activity across assigned work areas.
  • Must meet site-specific safety, attendance, and equipment certification requirements.
