Reporting to the Vice President, Operations of Wesgroup Equipment, this position oversees and grows the operations of the Westerra Equipment branch in Edmonton. You will also work closely with the local team to manage performance, advise and pitch-in to support high levels of customer experience and to generate profitable revenue growth in service, parts, and rentals.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of operations, including service, parts, and rentals, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams through effective hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Champion a customer-first culture by delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences across all departments.
- Engage with customers to understand needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to grow business relationships.
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Drive team productivity to meet or exceed key performance metrics.
- Partner with HR to maintain effective people practices, training programs, and workforce planning.

Working Conditions:The Operations Manager is based out of the Edmonton office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday. Some travel to local branches and to the US may be required.
