Rejoignez CAE afin d'apporter l'excellence opérationnelle à sa division des services de la circulation aérienne, une première en son genre. Le nouveau centre de formation des services de la circulation aérienne, spécialement conçu à cet effet, a été officiellement inauguré en janvier 2025. Nous constituons une équipe innovante et orientée client afin de dispenser une formation accélérée à plus de 150 étudiants par an, tout en assurant qualité et transparence pour notre client principal, NAV CANADA.

Dans ce rôle, à titre de gestionnaire des opérations, Services de la circulation aérienne chez CAE, vous serez le principal point de contact pour les opérations du site, en veillant au bon déroulement des activités quotidiennes ainsi qu'à l'amélioration stratégique.

Description
  • Agir en tant que principal point de contact pour les opérations de formation des Services de la circulation aérienne (ATS), en collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes (installations, sécurité, approvisionnement, finances)
  • Superviser le centre de formation ATS afin d'assurer des opérations quotidiennes efficaces et fluides
  • Gérer une équipe d'environ 20 employés, incluant la planification, la gestion des contrats, l'intégration, les processus de paie ainsi que la gestion des talents
  • Soutenir les initiatives de formation de la main-d'œuvre et promouvoir une culture d'apprentissage et de développement continus
  • Surveiller les dépenses et les indicateurs opérationnels, et fournir des rapports réguliers au responsable du centre de formation et à la haute direction
  • Piloter des initiatives d'amélioration continue en optimisant les processus, en mettant en place des outils numériques et en identifiant des opportunités de réduction des coûts
  • Mettre en place et maintenir des plans d'atténuation des risques, en assurant la conformité aux exigences de sécurité et aux normes d'audit
  • Coordonner les ressources en appuyant les responsables de formation dans la planification des simulateurs et des salles de classe


Qualifications minimales
  • Diplôme d'études professionnelles ou techniques
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en gestion de projets impliquant des équipes multidisciplinaires
  • Expérience démontrée en leadership et en gestion d'équipe
  • Excellentes compétences en communication professionnelle


Qualifications privilégiées
  • Expérience dans le domaine de l'aviation et/ou des environnements de formation
  • Expérience de travail dans des installations opérationnelles ou de formation
  • Maîtrise bilingue de l'anglais et du français

In this role, the Operations Manager, Air Traffic Services at CAE, you will act as the lead focal point for the site operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and strategic improvements.

  • Act as the lead focal point for Air Traffic Services (ATS) Training operations, collaborating with internal stakeholders including facilities, security, procurement, and finance
  • Oversee the ATS training facility to ensure efficient and seamless day-to-day operations
  • Manage a team of approximately 20 employees, including responsibilities for scheduling, contracting, onboarding, payment processes, and people management
  • Support workforce training initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Monitor expenditures and operational metrics, and provide regular reports to the Training Centre Leader and senior management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes, implementing digital tools, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Establish and maintain risk mitigation plans, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and audit standards
  • Coordinate resources by supporting Training Managers in simulator and classroom scheduling


Minimum Qualifications
  • Vocational or technical degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Strong professional communication skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in aviation and/or training environments
  • Experience working with operational or training facilities
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
