In this role, you'll hold 24-hour accountability for your assigned area - overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production or storage of finished goods, wine, and materials. You'll develop and execute a departmental business plan, manage performance across safety, quality, service, and cost, and ensure your team operates in full compliance with company policies, labor agreements, and regulatory requirements. From implementing sanitation and security programs to maintaining accurate production documentation, you'll be the driving force behind operational excellence.

You'll also think beyond today - recommending capital investments, leading facility improvements, managing budgets, and collaborating cross-functionally to continuously raise the bar. Partnering with Human Resources on labor strategies and grievance resolution, you'll help foster a workplace where communication is clear, expectations are fair, and every employee is set up to grow. You'll identify talent, build capabilities, and ensure industry best practices are embedded into everything your team does.

What You'll Need
  • Master's degree plus 3 years of production, operations or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Master's degree plus 4 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of production, operations, or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of production, operations, or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Management or supervisory experience.
  • Required to work day, swing or graveyard shifts as scheduled.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. How You'll Stand Out
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration plus 7 years of manufacturing operations management, or logistics operations management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Project management experience.
  • Food and beverage manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of systems and controls terminology.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Experience managing processes within the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical and business journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Experience writing articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups, or boards of directors.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level; MS Access at a basic level.
  • Experience with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Experience applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience working with all levels and functions within the company.
  • Experience leveraging skills and abilities of frontline employees.
  • Experience in local and state regulatory compliance (WDR) for wastewater discharge.
  • Experience in permit management for air compliance on internal combustion engines.
  • Experience in potable water systems.
