Overview:

PKM Canada Marine Terminal LP is currently recruiting for an Operations Foreman at Vancouver Wharves in North Vancouver. Vancouver Wharves handles bulk cargo including mineral concentrates, diesel, sulphur, and grain products on behalf of our customers.

In this role, you will supervise longshore workers and lead operations activities with a strong focus on safety, trust, and respect - values that shape how we work at Pembina. As a leader, you will foster collaboration, demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, and create a differentiated experience for our workers, customers, and partners.

This position directly contributes to Pembina's strategic priorities by ensuring resilient, efficient, and environmentally conscious operations that support our long term success.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Provide direct supervision of longshore workers, ensuring safe, respectful, and inclusive work practices;
  • Ensure all operations activities are completed in compliance with Pembina procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices;
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to proactively develop solutions and achieve operational goals;
  • Support talent development through coaching, feedback, and fostering effective teamwork;
  • Complete and maintain documentation related to maintenance, safety, and performance;

  • Provide leadership and assistance during emergency response situations; and
  • Support continuous improvement and adaptability across an operation that runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week working shift work.
