Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience; or Master's with 3+ years; or PhD with no experience.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with DoD or federal cybersecurity frameworks.
• Expertise in managing Tenable Nessus/SecurityCenter tools.
• Proficient in navigating eMASS and managing RMF control checklists.
• Proven ability to apply STIGs and verify compliance using STIG Viewer and SCAP tools.
• Active Security+ certification required.
• DOD 8140 IAT Level III Certification such as SecurityX or CASP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and update DISA STIG Checklists quarterly, providing vulnerability resolution recommendations.
• Compile and document findings from ACAS scans for GISA remediation.
• Review Army Intelligence Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure software and configuration.
• Generate quarterly STIG Hardening Guides including relevant checklists and versions.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise at the DoD 8140 Information Assurance Manager II Level.
• Conduct detailed reviews of DISA STIGs and related compliance mechanisms.
• Support cybersecurity in Converged Infrastructure environments, enhancing resiliency.
