We are currently seeking a On-site Technical PM to join our team in Austin, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Role Summary:The Technical Project Manager / Migration Delivery Lead will own overall delivery governance for Snowflake-to-Databricks migration. This role will coordinate client stakeholders, onsite and offshore teams, Databricks specialists, data engineering resources, QA teams, and release stakeholders to ensure migration execution remains aligned with the approved scope, timeline, staffing plan, RAID process, and change control governance.
Day to Day Job Duties:- Manage daily execution of the Databricks migration workstream across planning, POC, conversion, validation, deployment, hypercare, and ramp-down activities.
- Own project governance cadence, status reporting, sprint planning coordination, issue escalation, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate onsite and offshore resource allocation, onboarding readiness, work distribution, and ramp-up/ramp-down planning.
- Maintain the migration backlog, delivery plan, action item tracker, RAID log, and milestone-level progress reporting.
- Ensure adherence to the agreed delivery lifecycle of Discover, Convert, Validate, and Deploy for each in-scope system or domain.
- Support change request coordination for changes to staffing, scope, rate card, timeline, or phase-based allocation.
- Oversee knowledge transition, operational handoff, final delivery summary, and closure of project governance items.
Required Skills and Experience: - 8+ years' experience managing enterprise cloud data migration programs, preferably involving Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, data warehouse modernization, or lakehouse implementation.
- 8+ years of experience using Agile delivery, sprint planning, RAID management, resource planning, onsite/offshore coordination, migration governance, stakeholder reporting, and executive-level communication.
- 8+ years of experience managing dependencies across architecture, engineering, QA, security, release management, and client business teams.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $155,700 - $216,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
