AMS HPC & AI Deployment Project Manager
This role has been designated as 'Remote/Teleworker', which means you will primarily work from home.
Job Description:An AMS HPC & AI Deployment Project Manager manages complex delivery/deployments in the Americas - HW, SW, Fabric, acceptance, internal and customer interactions.
US Citizenship required Extensive Travel Required every 2 or 3 weeksRemote position based in VA preferred Key Responsibilities: - Manage customer project/solution delivery.
- Customer facing working with multiple teams
- Very large/ complex/ single or multiple American's regions.
- High risk deployment schedules
- High complexity legal and commercial issues.
- Manage project financials including project P&L.
- Manage client relationships.
- Manage upper level client delivery relationships.
- Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
- Manage internal project team from multiple HPE organizations.
- Manage internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 40 people.
- Mentor and encourage skill development of project team members.
- Provide detail performance review input and development recommendations for team members.
Knowledge and Skills: - Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
- Technical PM must be able to comprehend, manage, and direct deployment work within a team environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
- Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
- Speaks with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods.
Travel: This position requires extensive travel every 2 or 3 weeks per month to a customer site or an HPE office location.
Education: - Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience with 7 years of experience in technical project management.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key company Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
