Responsibilities he Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, patient care planning, prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of mental health and/or substance issues. The psychiatric nurse practitioner may also complete Utilization Review calls on behalf of physicians and provide services at the partial hospitalization program. Qualifications Education/Licensure: Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana, Licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Indiana.
Experience: At least two years with direct clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
Additional Requirements: Member of the hospital's allied professional staff.
