University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our Pulmonary Transplant practice at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Join a team of excellent providers who deliver care for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant recipients.
In This Role, You Will:- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of care to patients within a multidisciplinary framework caring for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant and cystic fibrosis patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Recommend treatment and prescribe medication.
- Consult with physicians (as needed) and make appropriate referrals for evaluation or treatment.
- Location: University of Minnesota Medical Center and the M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - Minneapolis.
Your Schedule:- Full-time, 1.0 FTE
- 8 or 10 hour days depending on whether working inpatient or outpatient and every 5th weekend. Total of 40 hours per week scheduled.
We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
- Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).
- Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

The full-time salary range is $133,366 - $164,454 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
