How you'll make an impact in this roleManage all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program.
- Manage the planning, development and implementation of the overall operational objectives, goals and processes.
- Establish and assure compliance of infection prevention policies and procedures to meet all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage recruitment, interview, selection, retention, staff development and performance management processes for the staff of assigned departments.
- Manage the development of department operating and capital budgets and achievement of financial goals.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
What additional preferences we're seekingMust be credentialed by Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC).
Must have at least 3 years of RN experience in Infection Control.
