  • Develop and deliver training programs for assembly personnel and contract manufacturers

Nextest, a Division of Teradyne is looking for a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team based in San Jose, California. We are a small, close-knit team working in an exciting, fast-paced, focused atmosphere. You can make a huge impact to this organization where what matters most is our success in bringing new products to market quickly.

  • Collaborate on product build process with design engineering
  • Develop and implement new assembly instructions procedures
  • Develop Manufacturing Process Strategy for outsourced products
  • Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews through New Product Introduction process
  • Manufacturing fixture design including validation, build, documentation, and handoff to high volume production
  • Create and Implement Engineering Change Notices to update BOMs and drawings
  • Monitor and drive quality standards at suppliers and internally
  • Develop and provide training to assembly personnel and contract manufacturers

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $108,200-$173,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
