Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Quality Engineer specializing in System-Level Validation, Integration Testing, and Test Automation to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software and hardware solutions used in semiconductor test and automation environments. You will work closely with Software, Systems, Hardware, Applications, and Product Engineering teams to validate end-to-end system functionality, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive quality improvements throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of system-level test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation activities for complex hardware and software solutions.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test solutions to validate functionality, reliability, performance, and end-to-end system workflows.
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, and drive resolution of complex issues across software, hardware, networking, and integrated system components.
  • Drive improvements to quality engineering processes, test methodologies, automation frameworks, and validation practices to increase efficiency, coverage, and product quality.
  • Develop and enhance test automation solutions using modern programming and scripting languages while integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and QE teams to define quality objectives, validation strategies, and release readiness criteria.
  • Analyze test results, quality metrics, and system behavior to identify product risks, communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the adoption of best practices in system validation, automation, and quality engineering.
  • Provide technical leadership across validation initiatives by guiding engineers, coordinating test execution, reviewing technical approaches, and helping drive alignment across project teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, Systems Validation, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience performing system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing of complex software and hardware systems.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as C# or C++, with experience developing and maintaining test automation solutions.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for test automation, tooling, and analysis.
  • Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues spanning multiple system components.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts, influence cross-functional teams, mentor and guide engineers, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments using tools such as Jira.


Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $161,700 - $258,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
