RINA is currently recruiting for a North America Energy Engineering Project Manager to join its office in Houston within the Americas Energy Engineering Solutions Division.

Mission

The North America Energy Asset Integrity Senior Engineering Project Manager is accountable for leading and delivering asset integrity, maintenance engineering, reliability, inspection engineering, technical due diligence, and operational excellence projects across the energy, power generation, industrial, and emerging energy sectors. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, high-quality, and profitable execution of projects while balancing technical delivery, commercial performance, resource management, and client expectations. The position acts as a technical authority and trusted advisor to clients, supporting business development, expanding service offerings, developing regional capabilities, and leveraging RINA's global expertise to drive sustainable growth throughout North America.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and support the execution of asset integrity, maintenance engineering, reliability, inspection, technical due diligence, and other engineering consultancy projects across the energy, power generation, industrial, and emerging energy sectors.
  • Function as Project Manager, Lead Inspector, Inspection Technical Lead, or Subject Matter Expert for assigned inspection and asset integrity projects, providing project leadership, field oversight, and technical support as required.
  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate personnel, subcontractors, and technical activities to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality, and profitable project delivery
  • Prepare, review, and contribute to inspection reports, inspection plans, field procedures, methodologies, work packs, condition assessments, and technical recommendations.
  • Support proposal development, scope definition, cost estimation, technical solution development, and project execution strategies for multidisciplinary opportunities.
  • Act as a client-facing representative for inspection and asset integrity projects, supporting business development initiatives, maintaining client relationships, and identifying opportunities for repeat and growth business.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and development of inspection and field personnel, providing technical guidance, coaching, and day-to-day supervision
  • Assist with resource planning, workload forecasting, scheduling, and capability development to support growth of North American inspection and asset integrity services..
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of inspection procedures, standards, templates, workflows, quality processes, and best practices.
  • Ensure inspection activities and deliverables comply with applicable industry standards, client requirements, safety expectations, and RINA quality management processes.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, balancing field execution, client expectations, commercial performance, schedule commitments, and resource utilization.
  • Support regional and global collaboration initiatives, sharing technical knowledge and leveraging expertise from across the RINA network to deliver integrated inspection and asset integrity solutions.
  • Travel as required to client sites, project locations, conferences, and business development meetings throughout North America and internationally.


Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Other

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial inspection, asset integrity, project management, maintenance, reliability, engineering support, or a related technical field.
  • Experience managing projects, coordinating field activities, and delivering work safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of industrial facilities, inspection practices, safety requirements, and quality processes.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of execution and customer service.
  • Relevant certifications in inspection, NDT, project management, safety, or asset integrity are desirable.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America as required.
