How you'll make an impact in this role- Clinical Systems Integration & Architecture: Deployment of integrated medical device ecosystems (Nihon Kohden system upgrades, Radman, Citrix, Pesyst applications etc.), architect and maintain device-to-network integrations, collaborate with Information Services on network segmentation, VLAN design, and secure device onboarding and develop system-level documentation, interface maps, and integration workflows.
- Enterprise Medical Equipment Lifecycle Management: Support capital planning and technical evaluation of high-acuity systems, conduct technical risk assessments for new equipment acquisitions, oversee installation, acceptance testing, validation, and commissioning of complex systems, and provide technical guidance during renovations, expansions, and new construction projects.
- Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance: Partner with IT Security to ensure compliance with FDA, CMS, Joint Commission, and internal cybersecurity standards, conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation for connected medical devices, maintain documentation required for accreditation and regulatory inspections, participate in incident response for technology-related patient safety events.
- System Optimization & Performance Improvement: Analyze system performance data and downtime metrics, lead root cause analysis for system failures and recurring technical issues, implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies for high-risk clinical systems, develop standardization strategies across departments and campuses.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Serve as technical liaison between vendors, clinical teams, and IT; evaluate service contracts and vendor performance, negotiate technical specifications during procurement processes, and support training initiatives for clinical and technical staff.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Electrocardiography Tech specializing in Long Term Monitoring credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Neuroanalyst Certification Examination In Long Term Monitoring (CLTM) preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Networking/Systems Technology or Associate Neurodiagnostic Technology with strong emphasis on network technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical networking within a hospital or academic medical center.
- Strong project management and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Network Technology, Technology Project Management, or related field.
- Experience in Neurodiagnostic-focused or high-acuity environments.
- Experience with Epic/Cerner device integration or enterprise middleware platforms.
- Proven experience managing large-scale capital or construction projects
