Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Cisco certifications are required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with Palo Alto NGFW.
• Minimum of 10 years network engineering experience.
• Must align with client standard business hours between 8AM-5PM Monday Friday Eastern Time
• Must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours support
Roles & Responsibilities
• Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware (switches, routers) and IOS
• Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall
• Expert knowledge of Cisco ISE
• Expert knowledge in networking technologies such as wireless, MPLS, Private IP, TLS SIP
• Ability to create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation including systems diagrams and architectural assessments for support, audit, compliance and disaster recovery purposes
• Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for other members of the IT team
• Knowledge of Data Center technologies including storageFC, FCIP, virtualization (VMWare), Nexus, and Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS)
• Ability to support and/or lead proof-of-concept efforts
Education Have an associate degree or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000 a year
