Responsibilitie Responsibilities Improve data center network availability and efficiency through software development. Develop network monitoring infrastructure, and optimize the data collection, processing and visualization pipeline. Create software defined networking (SDN) control system to automate scheduling and management of network resources. Develop network troubleshooting and mitigation tools to reduce incident response time and improve availability. Build network emulation platforms and verification tools to improve safety of network operations. Collaborate with network operation and maintenance teams to support other infrastructure services including but not limited to compute and storage on troubleshooting, and resource deployment optimization. Qualification Qualifications Must have a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Computer Networking, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Computer Networking, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Writing testable and maintainable software using high level programming language, including Golang, Java, Python, or C++; Utilizing networking tools ping, netstat, tcpdump, and ifconfig to troubleshoot network issues; Debugging and troubleshooting in network, setting up test bed and test feature, and resolving network issues; Using Unix or Linux operating system; and Preparing technical documentation, including one of the following: (1) technical initiatives; (2) design proposals; or (3) publishing conference or journal papers.
