Circuit and Carrier Management

  • Own escalation management for circuit outages and degraded service events

  • Maintain carrier ownership and escalation matrix; serve as primary vendor contact for circuit providers

Corporate Wireless and Guest Wireless

  • Troubleshoot wireless performance issues and support access point deployment and coverage initiatives

  • Maintain wireless policy and configuration standards across the enterprise

  • Isolate and escalate Netskope-related wireless issues in coordination with the security team

802.1X and Network Access Control

  • Own wired and wireless 802.1X configuration, support, and ongoing policy management

  • Troubleshoot authentication failures and resolve certificate-related issues

  • Coordinate with identity and security teams on policy dependencies and NAC platform changes

  • Maintain operational support procedures for 802.1X environments

Building-to-Building Connectivity

  • Manage network connectivity between corporate buildings, including inter-building routing, uplinks, and failover paths

  • Troubleshoot site-to-site connectivity incidents and coordinate maintenance and planned changes

  • Execute and document disaster recovery testing procedures between circuits serving corporate buildings

ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent Management

  • Administer ThousandEyes Endpoint Agents for corporate laptops, including deployment, visibility, and troubleshooting support

  • Review agent health and coverage across the environment; coordinate with endpoint and support teams as needed

  • Maintain ownership documentation and support procedures for the agent management program

Lifecycle and Vulnerability Management

  • Track hardware and software end-of-life milestones; develop refresh recommendations and coordinate upgrade or replacement planning

  • Own the network infrastructure patch planning process, coordinating firmware, software, and security updates

  • Track remediation of identified vulnerabilities in coordination with security teams; manage prioritization and change planning

  • Maintain patching cadence documentation and vulnerability remediation tracker

Documentation and Knowledge Management

  • Maintain and update network topology diagrams, building interconnect diagrams, and Meraki administrative standards

  • Keep circuit inventory, vendor contact lists, and carrier escalation matrices current and centrally available

  • Document 802.1X operational procedures, DR testing procedures, and ThousandEyes support ownership

  • Maintain open issues, known risks, and technical debt summaries for ongoing management visibility

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience

  • Experience owning and managing enterprise circuit relationships, including coordination with ISPs and carriers for installs, renewals, outage escalation, and service reviews

  • Working knowledge of corporate and guest wireless architecture, SSID administration, and wireless troubleshooting in enterprise environments

  • Experience with 802.1X wired and wireless configuration, authentication troubleshooting, certificate management, and coordination with identity and NAC platforms such as Portnox, Cisco ISE, or equivalent

  • Familiarity with Netskope or similar secure access service edge (SASE) platforms and their interaction with wireless infrastructure
