Washington County's Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Network Analyst II to join the Information Security Division.

The Network Analyst II requires a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and a genuine passion for protecting digital environments. This position blends technical expertise, analytical thinking, and personal drive, enabling the County to thrive in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.

Knowledge of:

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; AND two (2) years of experience providing professional-level information technology analysis and support; OR
• An Associate's Degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; AND four (4) years of experience providing professional-level information technology analysis and support; OR
• Six (6) years of experience providing professional-level technology analysis and support.

Any of the following certifications may substitute for one (1) year of required education. Two or more certifications may substitute for up to two (2) years of the education requirement:

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
• MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator)
• Junos (Juniper) network certifications
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator)
• NEC enterprise voice solutions certifications
• VoIP-related system engineering certifications for other major manufacturers
• AVST Voice mail system certifications
• Certified Computer Information Security Professional
• Checkpoin
• EMC storage solutions
• Other certifications from major enterprise network solutions providers

Additional Requirements

• Possession of a driver's license valid in the State of Oregon and an acceptable driving record per Washington County policy.
• Selected candidate will be required to participate in an extensive background check.

About the Department/Division:

Washington County's Information Technology Services (ITS) Department is a centralized organization of over 80 professionals that delivers enterprise technology solutions supporting critical County services and operations. ITS partners with departments across the County to provide reliable, secure, and future-ready technology services.

The Information Security Division is a four-person team responsible for strengthening the County's security posture by promoting security awareness and education, maintaining governance, risk, and compliance activities, leading incident response and business continuity efforts, and managing threats and vulnerabilities across County systems.
