Full Job Description
DXP|Natpro is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the complete, accurate, and on-time execution of assigned customer project orders. This role is critical in ensuring the successful project delivery from initiation through completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Predict and manage resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project performance, costs, and progress to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Provide consistent updates and communication to all project stakeholders.
  • Manage contracts, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee work orders with internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Execute Quality Assurance and Vendor Document & Drawing plans.
  • Apply industry best practices, standards, and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective measures.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, software, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full project life cycles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Technical understanding of industrial rotating equipment, layouts, and related standards.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, and assembly.
  • Assets:
    • PMI (Project Management Institute) certification
    • Technical education background
    • Working experience with industrial rotating equipment
    • Understanding of technical drawings of P&ID, Piping and Structural drawings.
    • Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as API/HI, ANSI, NFPA, ABSA, CWB, and CSA.

Work Conditions

  • Based in our Calgary office.
  • Travel may be required for project execution or client meetings.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to use computer equipment and complete documentation as required..
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 10 lbs.
