MP&P Engineer-Composite/Interior Composite (Associate, Mid-level, or Senior)
Position Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Washington Interiors Responsibility Center Fabrication Business Unit on value creation initiatives and emergent production support projects.
- Lead new material qualifications, troubleshoot emergent material issues, and contribute to supply chain risk mitigation.
- Conduct hands-on lab testing of new and existing material systems, ensuring quality and performance standards.
- Travel domestically up to 10% to supplier sites and partner locations as project needs arise.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Apply critical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and project management skills to deliver impactful solutions.
- Actively listen and respond to team and customer needs, fostering collaboration through Seek, Speak, and Listen principles.
- Provide on-site support for production and lab testing activities to ensure seamless operations.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree (Level 2)
- 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent education/experience combination (Level 3)
- 9+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent education/experience combination (Level 4)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with composites, thermoplastics, elastomers, and associated processing techniques
- Experience working in engineering or scientific labs with polymer chemistry and analytical techniques

- Summary pay range for Associate (level 2): $98,600 - $133,400
- Summary pay range for Mid-Level (level 3): $119,850 - $162,150
- Summary pay range for Senior (level 4): $146,200 - $197,800
