Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Modern RPG / SYNON Technical Lead to design, build, and lead application development on the IBM i (OS400) platform. The role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, and close collaboration with customers and project teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Experience8+ years of experience in IBM i (AS/400) application development with Modern RPG and SYNON, including experience in a technical lead role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 3-4 developers and ensure quality and timely delivery
- Design, code, and unit test application components
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and ensure successful execution during the development phase
- Follow project execution methodologies and Agile practices
- Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore teams when required
Required Skills & Experience- Strong proficiency in Modern RPG
- Expertise in SYNON application development
- Strong understanding of DB2/400 (DB2400) concepts
- Hands-on experience with IBM i / OS400 platform
- Experience leading technical teams
- Knowledge of Agile project delivery methodology
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
