Opportunity
PeopleTec is hiring a Senior Risk Mitigation Specialist to support the Defense Intelligence Agency's Strategic Planning and Response for China (SPARC) program in the National Capital Region. This position supports the DIA China Mission Group, performing oversight and monitoring of emplaced foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) mitigation strategies and contributing to senior-leader decision-making on industrial security and foreign influence risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reviews, analyses, studies, and evaluations of business operations supporting FOCI mitigation strategies
- Coordinate multiple reports and produce executive summaries for senior-leader decision makers
- Apply DoD policy and DCSA direction for the FOCI program; monitor performance reports and statistical documentation to ensure compliance with FOCI policies and emplaced mitigation plans
- Conduct oversight and monitoring functions related to emplaced mitigation, including collection of legal business entity security data
- Prepare detailed correspondence on FOCI matters and conduct outreach engagements
- Coordinate across DIA, DCSA, and IC partners
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- Experience performing oversight and monitoring functions for emplaced mitigation
- Experience working with risk mitigation strategies in support of DoD clients
- Experience coordinating multiple annual reports and using risk mitigation software applications
- Knowledge of DoD and risk mitigation policies
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to brief senior leaders
- Bachelor's degree and 17+ years of experience in risk mitigation roles, OR Master's degree and 12+ years of experience in risk mitigation roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with NISS, DISS, and SF-328 submissions
- DCSA program experience
- China mission or Indo-Pacific exposure
- Experience supporting DIA or other IC customers

In compliance with the District of Columbia Wage Transparency Act, the salary range for this role is ~$130,000 - $166,000; however, PeopleTec considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and critical skills.
