Job DescriptionWe are seeking a midlevel Restructuring and Insolvency associate to join the Charlotte, Portland, or Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience as a bankruptcy judicial law clerk and/or experience as a practicing commercial bankruptcy lawyer representing debtors and/or creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, state law insolvency proceedings and out of court restructurings. Experience with avoidable transfer litigation and asset sales is preferred. California bar admission is also preferred but not required.
Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers across our US platform who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
Base Compensation $210,000 - $ 340,000 / year
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
