Job Description and Salary

ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an associate in our Chicago office (preferable) (or in our New York, DC, Boston. LA or San Francisco office) to join the 5th year associate class or above for its Corporate & Securities practice group. The ideal candidate should have experience with private offerings and fund formations, including the formation and operation of a variety of private investment funds and funds of funds, as well as drafting and negotiating private placement memoranda, subscription agreements, limited partnership agreements, operating agreements, side letters, investment management agreements, Form ADV, and related fund documentation. Experience on M&A teams is also preferred. Additional requirements include: strong organizational and writing skills, excellent academic credentials and a desire to excel in a large law firm environment. Candidates should be licensed and in good standing in the state they wish to practice in (or if not they should be prepared to sit for and pass the bar exam).

The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $275,000 to a maximum of $375,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus program with opportunities for discretionary incentives that may include productivity, business development, and merit-based components, subject to applicable policies.
