Full Job Description
Jefferson is seeking Mid-Level Contract Specialists to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG). This role will be full-time Onsite at the USCG Headquarters, 2703 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20593. This role is contingent upon contract award to Jefferson. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Responsibilities: Provide cradle-to-grave contracting support within USCG's Office of Contract Operations (CG-HCA-COCO) and Office of Procurement Policy and Oversight (CG-HCA-PPO). Support market research and acquisition planning (pre-solicitation) Develop and support solicitations including analysis and documentation for solicitation development and evaluation. Perform contract administration (post-award) including invoice/payment processing, deliverable tracking, monitoring small business compliance, and preparing routine contract modifications. Manage contract data, reporting, and systems inputs including record and file management. Execute contract closeout activities including file reviews, audits, and checklists. Required Qualifications: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. Must be FAC-C or DAWIA eligible or must possess an equivalent professional Contracting certification such as CFCM or CPCM. At least eight (8) years of federal Government experience providing cradle-to-grave contracting support including procurement planning and execution, market research and analysis, source selection, contract administration, and negotiation and communications.
