Job Location: New York, New York



Position Responsibilities:

Lead strategic planning, development, and execution of the product category, including P&L management, vendor relationships, and business growth initiatives. Analyze market trends and customer insights to optimize product selection, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Develop and implement category-specific business plans to drive revenue growth and profitability. Negotiate with vendors and manage relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and operations to ensure successful execution of category initiatives. Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and maintain appropriate stock levels across the product portfolio. Lead analytics-driven decision making to identify opportunities for category expansion and optimization. Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive sales and market share growth.

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to a Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) P&L management and business strategy development; (2) vendor relationship management and contract negotiations; (3) retail analytics and data-driven decision making; (4) inventory management and demand forecasting; (5) cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management; and (6) promotional planning and execution in retail environment. Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $166,346/year to $208,300/year.
