Summary
The Media Analyst supports and maintains all Audio Visual (AV) and video conferencing technology services for Sullivan & Cromwell. This includes special venue events, law practice training sessions, legal deposition meetings, and any conference room service requiring AV or video conferencing assistance.
Support includes AV equipment set ups, live session monitoring, and post event breakdown. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining modern AV and collaboration systems such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Blue Jeans ,Google Meet, Crestron control systems, Cisco Webex Room Kits, network connected PTZ cameras (NDI enabled), BiAmp Tesira DSPs, professional microphone systems, wireless microphone systems, external speakers, large format displays, PCs, laptops, thin clients, Logitech Zoom Rooms, Logitech Rally and Rally Bar systems, and full Zoom Enterprise experience.

AV and video conferencing sessions require real time support, live streaming, recording, and post production tasks including webinar/webcast delivery, podcast capture, and video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. Digital distribution of final media files to branch offices is also required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Daily system check of all AV conference rooms at 125 Broad Street and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Confirm weekly inventory of all AV equipment.
• Maintain the latest software updates on all AV related PC equipment to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Provide white glove Helpdesk level support to clients and customers, consistently working on improving services.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot systems in meeting rooms as required.
• Monitor live teleconference, video conference, webinars/webcast, Depositions and recording sessions.
• Monitor and close out ServiceNow tickets and Daily assignment report exported from the event managing suite. (Korbit)
• Schedule pre testing of systems prior to all events.
• Comply with the firm's information security policies, protecting firm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference, and report security events or potential events to management.

  Qualifications
• Experience with the operation of upgrading and troubleshooting Cisco codec hardware and software
• Experience with Crestron systems
• BiAmp Tesira and AV integrated systems experience a plus
• Familiarity with professional microphone systems (wired, wireless, and integrated audio setups)
• Familiarity with integrating professional microphone solutions with PC based setups for depositions, webinars, webcasts, and recording sessions
• Strong knowledge of PC skills, thin client and Mac hardware/software/OS, including routing of audio and video
• Ability to communicate effectively and desire to learn
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility for on call/overtime rotation

Education and/or Experience

• College degree and 5 + years of experience with media related systems or high school diploma and 10+ years of media related experience.
• CCNA certification, experience with production quality staging/lighting technologies.

Work Environment
This is a fast-moving environment that includes deploying AV solutions quickly and often in front of senior lawyers and clients. The successful Media Analyst can efficiently install all needed devices without undue attention to themselves while presenting a polished business demeanor.

This position requires physical activity, including daily room setup and breakdown, deploying and retrieving AV equipment, PCs, laptops, printers, and running and maintaining cabling.

Flexibility is essential in this regularly evolving environment. Meetings and events are often scheduled at the last minute and may require immediate support. While the team works together to provide the best coverage possible, there will be times when you may need to work beyond your scheduled hours to accommodate critical support needs.

Compensation
The base salary range offered for this role will be between $80,000 and $90,000. When determining a candidate's compensation offer, elements unique to each person are taken into consideration including but not limited to skill set, experience level, performance, professional certifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the Firm. The total compensation package for this position may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
