Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various departments including Purchasing and Manufacturing throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Suggest improvements for product cost, quality, and work processes.

Full Job Description
Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000 to $91,000USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA:
• Designs and develops mechanical products, components, and systems in and around the vehicle powertrain
• Use NX and related tools to develop and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, packaging studies, installation documentation, and vendor communication of design intent
• Support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype mechanical products and assemblies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, Analysis, Warranty, and Marketing throughout product development and launch
• Contribute ideas that improve product cost (CCI), quality, tools, processes, and the overall work environment.

Knowledge You Should Bring:
• CAD experience and skill
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to reconcile competing requirements into robust, cost-effective solutions
• Strong communication, planning, and presentation skills
