Full Job Description
Mechanical Engineer • San Diego, California Noblis MSD is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to support NIWC PAC development. Candidates must be experienced in development networking systems utilizing computer-aided design, and mechanical engineering principles. The engineer will develop detailed engineering drawings and models for system design and upgrades. This requires coordination with other functional teams and working closely with government engineers and program sponsors. Responsibilities Include: • Design and analyze ruggedized mechanical systems for commercial off the shelf (COTS) electronics • Develop and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to ensure technical accuracy and verify that all technical requirements are satisfied • Provide advice and guidance to government engineers regarding design, fabrication, operation, and maintenance or repair of ruggedized mechanical enclosure • Provide engineering support for the planning, procurement, and production of rack mounted network systems • Perform trade studies and participate in equipment selection • Establish energy and heat load budgets with the objective of identifying current deficiencies, anticipating future requirements, and estimating factors to be included in network system design • Provide technical expertise and support for testing and troubleshooting hardware systems • Actively participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and demonstrate strong dedication to quality and communication. Posted Salary Range USD $65,200.00 - USD $101,950.00 /Yr.
