About the Role

Radiant is seeking a talented Electric Motor Design Engineer to design and develop an alternator for the nuclear-driven, high-speed power generator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the design and analysis of active parts within the high-speed generator. You will collaborate with engineers cross-functionally and partner closely with the turbomachinery team developing a system for converting mechanical energy to electrical to be delivered to customers safely and reliably. The successful candidate will own active part design of generators, along with performing analysis, simulation, and component selection. You'll make a big impact in commercializing Earth's first mass-produced nuclear reactors and power remote areas and critical infrastructure with abundant clean energy.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.
  • Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.
