JOB DESCRIPTION

Basic Functions:

  • Participates in projects that influence the direction of the operation
  • Manages multiple and competing demands in the area of functional responsibility and the organization
  • Insures compliance to formal policies and procedures.
  • Monitors trends and establishes actions for improvement.
  • Provides supervision for positions within the SCM Coordinator job category
  • Manage 3 Material Supervisor and 60 hourly employees

  • Inventory Management
  • Customer Performance criteria / scores
  • Supplier Management
  • Budgeting Finance
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Material Flow and Problem Solving
  • Manages multiple SCM roles and responsibilities
  • May orient, train, assign, and verify the work of fellow employees
  • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals for a single unit with multiple customers and products
  • Advanced analytical problem solving skills to determine root cause of issues
  • Proposes and oversees implementation of corrective action


Experience
  • 4 - 6 years of Supply Change Management experience
  • Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge
  • Strong leadership / planning / negotiation / problem solving / delegation and presentation skills
  • PC software knowledge & skills. Strong financial skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
