Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a Materials Planning Analyst II that help us to satisfy the customer requirements and service metrics through the coordination production plan for Hyperion, Force Lab and support the Project Pieuvre/Octupus that includes semi-finished good & finish good inventories targets. Also is responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle in our different sites as Arden & FMR.

This position requires access to information that is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent residents, persons granted asylee status in the U.S., or persons admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer requirements, support new product introductions, manage inventory, coordinate phase-out activities for potential products, and support material flow by GPL.
  • Follows and establishes practices that guarantee the correct administration of MRP, CAP parameters for planning, proper use of the system, and compliance. Follow practices and tasks that guarantee the achievement of service metrics.
  • Manages plant manufacturing requirements according to the inventory policy and plant capacities.
  • Responsible for managing the expected inventory levels of finished products and sub-assemblies in the distribution center and plant by division.
  • Manages manufacturing resources based on the analysis of demand, forecast, and manufacturing trends to provide management information to support the decision-making process.
  • Manage planning practices and communication tools and guarantees compliance according to the requirements of the quality system.
  • Release production orders according to customer's needs. (Hyperion/Project Octopus/ FMR/ FORCE)
  • Perform transfers of orders between sites.
  • Perform sales & past due projections every month.
  • Direct contact with customers to establish agreements, coordinate delivery times, and LOBs.
  • Comply with our internal key performance indicators, OTD, Inventory turns, Sales, Past due.
  • Host weekly Supply Side meetings for assigned value stream(s)
  • Coordinate Force Lab Management with FMR.
  • Support the Pieuvre/Octupus project.


What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. HSD or GED required.
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in a Supply Chain as planner, scheduler, or planner/buyer.
  • SAP Production Planning experience highly preferred.
  • Understanding Material Resource Planning systems.
  • Good analytical planning and purchasing skills.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multitask.
  • Details and results driven.

  • Microsoft platform experience, (Excel, Power point, Word)

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,700 - 107.600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
