Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic initiatives supporting the HCS Materials Excellence roadmap, driving alignment, execution, and measurable business results across multiple sites.
- Coordinate Materials Excellence governance, including KPIs, TTIs, scorecards, risks, action plans, and benefit realization.
- Partner with site leadership and subject matter experts to deploy and sustain Materials Excellence initiatives, remove barriers, and accelerate value realization.
- Conduct strategic analyses to identify opportunities in inventory optimization, material flow, warehouse operations, supplier integration, and network design.
- Develop data-driven recommendations, business cases, and implementation plans that improve service, inventory, productivity, and cost performance.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools that support decision-making and accountability.
- Lead Materials Value Stream Mapping (MVSM), process mapping, and assessment activities to identify flow constraints, inventory opportunities, material handling waste, and future-state improvement plans.
- Support deployment of MMF, PFEP, pull systems, inventory strategies, warehouse processes, and material presentation standards.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement digital solutions, automation technologies, and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops, kaizen events, and leadership reviews to drive alignment, issue resolution, and execution.
- Develop, deploy, and sustain Materials Excellence standard work, playbooks, governance processes, and implementation tools that enable consistent execution across HCS manufacturing sites.
- Serve as a hands-on change agent, working directly with site teams to deploy solutions, remove barriers, challenge the status quo, and accelerate benefit realization.
- Support material flow and feeding strategies that improve operational stability, maximize uptime, and eliminate material-related disruptions.
What We Are Looking For- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 10 years related experience.
- CPM, CSCP, CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Requires expertise in best practices in a wide range of supply chain functions and their relationships.
- Requires broad understanding of process best practices, barriers to implementation and the highest level of problem solving ability.
- Expert quantitative and analytical skills; broad range of computer skills-database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages; understand contracts and tariffs.
- Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of the value chain.
- Must have excellent customer service and relational skills. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lead and motivate complex cross-functional project teams.
- This role will travel up to 75% of the time between sites in the US and Mexico.
What We OfferCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between
$122,000 - $159,600 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
