Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Material Coordinator in Seattle, WA to keep critical Customer Service and Maintenance programs moving. In this role, you will help ensure the right materials are available at the right time and place-supporting site readiness, service delivery, and operational continuity across assigned projects.

You will partner closely with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Field Services, and Supply Chain teams to solve material challenges, improve visibility, and support efficient execution in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for material topics, partnering with internal Supply Chain teams to ensure site material availability and uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage material planning, stocking levels, validation, and inventory accuracy to support project, maintenance, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate fulfillment, urgent material needs, purchase orders, and direct-to-site deliveries to minimize downtime and keep work on schedule.
  • Lead aspects of logistics, shipment tracking, transportation spend, and documentation to control costs and provide stakeholder visibility.
  • Monitor backorders, material risks, fleet readiness, and performance metrics to identify gaps and support recovery plans.
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, and related systems to ensure data integrity and traceability.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

To thrive in this role, you have:

The pay range for this position is $80,070.00 - $93,942 .00 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
