Qualifications

Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Join our Montreal team as a Master Scheduler for Satellite Test Equipment. On a daily basis you will work with state of the art equipment that helps recreate the harsh environments of space, and is key in the success of our satellite missions.

As the leading global independent commercial supplier of antennas, payloads, and electronics for communication and radar satellites, our team has successfully contributed to hundreds of satellite missions in the past 60 years.

The Position

As The Master Scheduler you will put your strong analytical and problem solving skills to the test from overseeing the coordination of all assembly integration and test activities between our different programs through to mitigating risks for on-time delivery to our global customers.Problems you could solve would range from scheduling conflicts, material, equipment and workforce constraints making no two days the same in this fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate planning development and improvement (system, process, practices and performance measurements).
  • Review medium to long term planning requirement and identifies conflicts, constraints and resources requirements.
  • Monitor the progress against the plan at regular intervals and work with all departments in resolving planning and capacity problems.
  • Identify risks and propose recovery plan in case of overall capacity issues
  • Generate and analyze overall scenarios, reports and metrics (milestones, OTD, etc.)
  • Identify, develop, implement, maintain, analyze and publish manufacturing measures of performance
  • Support proposal activities for manufacturing operations
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provide functional guidance and train less experienced personnel


Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a project management and/or production planning environment
  • PMI-PMP Certification is an asset
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, operations management option (preferably) or in commercial sciences
  • Excellent knowledge project management software, preferably Primavera
  • French Language is essentially however the ideal candidate will be fully bilingual (Transige with suppliers outside Quebec).
