MarTech Strategy Consultant - Data & Personalization

Salary: $120,000-$155,000 + up to 20% annual bonus

Location: NYC, Chicago or Denver Area Preferred | Open to Hybrid w/Travel

The MarTech Strategy Consultant is the hands-on personalization specialist, directly responsible for the execution and optimization of high-impact digital experiences. We value clean execution, rigorous data-informed testing, and speed in delivering customer value.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The MarTech Strategy Consultant is the dedicated subject matter expert for campaign orchestration and Adobe Target, reporting directly to the MarTech Strategy & Activation Lead. This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalized campaigns within the Adobe Target platform, ensuring the platform is leveraged to drive conversion and measurable growth on the new AEM web platform.

You will be the primary 'hands-on keyboard' execution partner for Product and Marketing teams, translating strategic goals into live, high-performance customer experiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

CAMPAIGN EXECUTION & OPTIMIZATION

  • Design, build, and launch all A/B, MVT, and Experience Targeting activities within Adobe Target, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain the activity lifecycle from ideation and QA through launch, monitoring, and final analysis.
  • Implement and manage personalized content and audience segments, leveraging data from the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to drive smarter targeting.
  • Proactively monitor campaign performance and implement rapid, data-informed optimizations to increase conversion rates and key performance indicators (KPIs).


PLATFORM HEALTH & GOVERNANCE

  • Act as the technical expert for Adobe Target, ensuring proper implementation of mboxes, user parameters, and integration points with Adobe Analytics and AEP.
  • Adhere to and enforce platform governance standards around audience creation, activity naming conventions, and code deployment within Target.


COLLABORATION & REPORTING

  • Work in close partnership with the Product, UX/UI Design, and Engineering teams to define testing parameters and ensure technical feasibility for new personalization efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Lead and Analytics teams to set up A/B test reporting, interpret results, and derive actionable insights from test outcomes.


Experience and Skills
WHAT YOU BRING

PLATFORM EXPERTISE & DATA FLUENCY
  • 3+ years of professional digital marketing or optimization experience, with a dedicated focus (2+ years) on hands-on execution within Adobe Target.
  • Proven, experienced proficiency in all facets of Adobe Target, including A/B testing, Multivariate testing, Experience Targeting, and managing custom scripts (e.g., mbox.js or at.js implementation).
  • Strong working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) necessary for implementing and debugging tests.
  • Familiarity with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud, particularly integration with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
