We're looking for a Marketing Technology Manager to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, product, and technology, helping us scale high-impact growth marketing campaigns through the right tools, automation, and AI-powered solutions. You'll shape the future of our marketing technology ecosystem, partner with cross-functional teams, and enable smarter, more efficient ways of reaching and engaging users.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the evolution of Spotify's growth marketing technology ecosystem by identifying, implementing, and optimizing tools that enable scalable, high-performing marketing campaigns.
  • Take an AI-first approach to improving workflows by identifying opportunities to automate processes, enhance personalization, and accelerate experimentation.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Evaluate new marketing technologies, vendors, and emerging AI capabilities, providing recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Support the delivery of performance marketing initiatives by ensuring the marketing technology stack enables reliable execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvements to campaign operations, helping teams move faster while maintaining high quality and governance.
  • Stay current on trends across marketing technology, AI, and digital advertising, sharing insights and best practices across the organization.


Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, growth marketing, or performance marketing within a fast-growing technology company.
  • You understand today's marketing technology ecosystem, including customer data platforms, marketing automation platforms, advertising platforms, and measurement solutions, and you're excited to keep learning as the landscape evolves.
  • You have hands-on experience working with paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or similar platforms, and understand how campaigns are built, measured, and optimized.
  • You actively use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar assistants to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, and create more efficient workflows, and can demonstrate the impact of those solutions.
  • You know how to balance technical detail with business outcomes and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You enjoy collaborating across teams and building strong partnerships to solve complex problems.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and continuous improvement is part of the culture.
  • You care about creating scalable solutions that improve both business outcomes and the user experience.


Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in New York
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2 times per week.


The United States base range for this position is $79,057.00-112,938.00 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance.
