Our products serve HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lawn care, landscaping, cleaning, and other field service industries, helping customers streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and accelerate business growth.

As we continue to invest in growth, digital transformation, AI-driven capabilities, and market leadership, we are seeking a high-impact Marketing Director to lead demand generation, brand awareness, content strategy, and revenue marketing across the Field Services portfolio.

Position Overview

The Marketing Director will serve as the senior marketing leader for Xplor Field Services and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This individual will own the overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan, driving pipeline creation, customer engagement, and revenue growth for both FieldEdge and Service Autopilot.

The ideal candidate combines deep SaaS demand generation expertise with modern growth marketing capabilities, a data-driven mindset, and strong collaboration skills. They will partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, Customer Success, and Corporate Marketing to create and execute integrated go-to-market strategies.

This leader will manage a small internal marketing team while leveraging agencies, consultants, contractors, and corporate resources to scale impact.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, budget, operating plan, and performance metrics for Xplor Field Services.
  • Serve as the marketing representative on the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy, growth planning, and market positioning.
  • Establish quarterly and annual pipeline, lead generation, and brand awareness targets aligned with company revenue objectives.
  • Create executive-level reporting and insights on marketing performance, ROI, funnel health, and growth initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team focused on accountability, creativity, and measurable results.

Demand Generation & Revenue Marketing
  • Own all demand generation activities across digital, content, partner, event, and customer channels.
  • Develop and optimize multi-channel campaigns designed to drive qualified pipeline and customer acquisition.
  • Lead marketing efforts supporting both new customer acquisition and customer expansion opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Sales leadership to align messaging, lead management processes, campaign priorities, and funnel conversion optimization.
  • Establish attribution, performance measurement, and forecasting frameworks that connect marketing investment to revenue outcomes.

Digital Marketing & Paid Media
  • Own digital advertising strategy and budget across paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, review sites, and emerging channels.
  • Continuously optimize customer acquisition costs, pipeline generation, and return on ad spend.
  • Collaborate with corporate digital teams to improve website performance, SEO, GEO, AEO, conversion rates, and demand capture.
  • Evaluate and implement modern growth marketing techniques and emerging marketing technologies.

Content, Social & Customer Advocacy
  • Lead the creation and execution of the Field Services content strategy.
  • Oversee all social media programs, brand storytelling, thought leadership, and customer communications.
  • Build a scalable user-generated content and customer advocacy engine, including reviews, testimonials, case studies, customer stories, and community engagement.
  • Develop industry-specific content for contractors and service professionals that establishes FieldEdge and Service Autopilot as market leaders.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success to amplify customer success stories and product innovation.

Marketing Technology & AI
  • Own the marketing technology stack and identify opportunities for automation, personalization, and efficiency.
  • Leverage AI tools and modern marketing technologies to enhance content production, campaign execution, analytics, and customer insights.
  • Implement data-driven processes and experimentation frameworks to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in AI, digital marketing, and customer acquisition.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Business Development, Sales, Product, Customer Success, Payments, and Corporate Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market alignment.
  • Support product launches, industry events, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to develop messaging, collateral, competitive positioning, and campaign execution plans.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of marketing leadership experience in a SaaS organization.
  • Proven success leading demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing digital marketing budgets and optimizing multi-channel customer acquisition programs.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing analytics, attribution, CRM, marketing automation, and revenue operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing marketing professionals.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Business Development organizations.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and modern marketing technology platforms.

Preferred
  • Experience in field service management, trades software, home services technology, or adjacent vertical SaaS markets.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, or other contractor-focused industries.
  • Experience marketing to SMB and mid-market business owners and operators.
  • Experience building customer advocacy and user-generated content programs.
  • Experience in private equity-backed, growth-stage, or high-performance SaaS environments.

This position has an annual base salary range of $160,000 to $170,000 USD.

This is a 100% remote position available to candidates located in the U.S., excluding Hawaii and Alaska.
