Full Job Description

PagerDuty's Marketing Operations & Analytics team is the measurement backbone for the marketing organization. We define, produce, and defend the numbers that marketing and commercial leadership use to run the business, from funnel pacing and pipeline generation through ROI and closed-won contribution.

We're hiring a Marketing Analytics Manager to own our recurring marketing and commercial performance reporting and become the reliable answer to "how are we pacing, and why?" You'll work primarily in Tableau, Snowflake, Salesforce, and Google Sheets, partnering closely with BI/Data, Finance, and Sales Operations.

As a hands-on analyst you will own highly visible recurring deliverables from your first quarter, work directly with marketing leadership, and have real latitude to automate what's currently manual. You'll have high visibility, real influence on how the org spends, and a short path from "this is broken" to "I fixed it."
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce weekly KPI updates: Pacing against funnel targets, pipeline generation, and bookings. Including calling out what's driving variances.
  • Deliver the monthly metrics, including plain-language explanation of what each metric means for a non-technical audience to drive program or leadership decision-making.
  • Support marketing leadership by providing accurate, up-to-date metrics needed for cross functional leadership meetings.
  • Support monthly and quarterly business review reporting, highlighting the most significant changes and data points from the period to enable strategic decisions and drive revenue generation.
  • Maintain recurring ROI reporting, including overall marketing ROI and event ROI based on marketing-contributed closed won
  • Maintain Tableau dashboards built on Snowflake, Salesforce, and billing data. Including our core marketing funnel metrics data source, with documented definitions and repeatable QA checks.
  • Write SQL to pull, validate, and reconcile data across sources, and diagnose the differences that may arise with them.
  • Identify data-quality problems like duplicate counting, incomplete data, level-of-grain mismatches and provide clear recommendations for resolution to the right owners.
  • Maintain documentation marketing leaders use for dashboards to answer questions.
  • Support the annual marketing funnel target-setting process: maintain source actuals, prepare the modeling inputs, load approved targets into the reporting pipeline, and validate that downstream Tableau workbooks reflect them correctly.
  • Field standard analytics requests from commercial and marketing stakeholders, scoping each into a defined metric, source, owner, and decision before building.
  • Support executive-level reporting requests, working with your Sr. Manager and Analysts to scope and prioritize.
  • Partner with BI/Data, Finance, and Sales Operations on shared data sources and reporting definitions.
  • Reduce manual effort through automation with use of AI tooling
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years in marketing analytics, revenue operations, business analytics, sales operations, or a closely related field, with at least 4 years in a hands-on reporting and analysis role.
  • Working SQL proficiency. You can independently write joins, aggregations, and window functions against a data warehouse, and debug a query returning the wrong number.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau (or comparable) that successfully influence marketing / revenue decision-making?
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce data structures
  • Familiarity with Claude or other AI tools
  • Advanced Google Sheets: reconciliation, modeling, and analysis under time pressure.
  • Understanding of B2B funnel and pipeline metrics, Lifecycle stages, pipeline generation, conversion rates, ARR, bookings and relations to one another.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail. You validate before you publish and can explain how.
  • Clear written communication. You can explain in plain terms how the data connects to what marketing actually did, for an audience that doesn't work in the tools.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: you respond to a fuzzy request by pinning down the metric, the source, the owner, and the decision it informs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.
  • Familiarity with subscription billing data (Zuora or similar)
  • Exposure to B2B attribution concepts and tooling (CaliberMind, Bizible, or similar).
  • Experience with a marketing automation platform, ideally Marketo.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tooling (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow)
  • Prior work in B2B SaaS with both a self-serve/product-led motion and enterprise sales.
