About the Role:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Infrastructure Engineerto support the deployment, bring-up, qualification, and production release of manufacturing test stations for an advancedaerospace/satellite program.

This role will serve as a critical technical bridge betweenDevelopment Engineering and Production Operations, ensuring manufacturing test stations are commissioned, debugged, qualified, and ready to support production.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities between Development Engineering and the Production Floorduring test-station bring-up.
  • Perform hardware/software integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Deploy and support software across multiple manufacturing test stations.
  • Bring up, commission, qualify, and release test stations for production use.
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA)andBuilt-In Self-Test (BIST)validation.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot production yield and test failuresduring prototype and production builds.
  • Develop test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and preventative maintenance plans.
  • Train production operators on station software, test procedures, and troubleshooting.
  • Support hardware subsystem integration and manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support the design, automation, deployment, and ongoing operation of large-scale test infrastructure.

Required Technical Skills
  • Experience with manufacturing test systems, test infrastructure, or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL)environments.
  • Hands-on experience with test station bring-up and commissioning.
  • Strong software/hardware integration and debugging experience.
  • Programming experience in at least one modern language:
  • Python
  • C++
  • C#
  • Strong Linux/Unixexperience.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software build processes.
  • Experience deploying and supporting software in production or test environments.
  • Experience with lab instrumentation, test fixtures, or automated test equipment.

Preferred / Highly Desired
  • Experience with satellite or aerospace manufacturing testing.
  • Experience with manufacturing test station deployment and production release.
  • Experience with MSA, BIST, and station qualification.
  • Experience troubleshooting complexhardware/software integration issues.
  • Experience with distributed systems at scale.
  • Experience with networking hardware and/or optical communications.
  • Experience training production operators on test software.
  • Experience developing manufacturing procedures, maintenance plans, and troubleshooting documentation.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
