Job DescriptionManufacturing Supervisor - 1st ShiftLocation: Grand Island, NY (Buffalo/Niagara Region)
Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Flexibility as needed to support business operations)

How You Will Make an ImpactAs a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead daily manufacturing operations within our AOF AGT production area, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and operational excellence. You'll coach and develop a team of manufacturing technicians while driving continuous improvement initiatives that help our site operate efficiently and successfully.

What You'll Do- Lead and support a team of manufacturing technicians during daily operations.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ensure manufacturing activities comply with established procedures, cGMP requirements, and quality standards.
- Monitor production performance and resolve issues to keep operations running efficiently.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and develop employees to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Conduct performance discussions, provide coaching, and recognize employee achievements.
- Support production planning and help ensure customer commitments are met.
Minimum QualificationsEducation- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
Experience- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment.
- Experience managing production schedules, workflows, and resource planning.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food manufacturing, or other regulated manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working in cGMP and/or ISO-regulated environments preferred.

- Experience documenting work accurately and following quality and safety procedures.
- Comfortable collaborating across departments to achieve production goals.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hair covering, and additional PPE as required.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $75,000.00-$95,000.00.
