About the Role

ZT Systems is looking for The General Manager, Hyperscale Manufacturing, Engineering & Warehousing Operations.  This role will provide strategic and operational leadership for ZT Systems' Secaucus, NJ manufacturing campus. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Manufacturing, this executive leader will oversee manufacturing operations, warehousing, logistics, quality, engineering, new product introduction (NPI), and customer fulfillment activities supporting hyperscale, AI, cloud, storage, networking, and related technology customers.

We are seeking a proven leader with a track record of building and scaling complex manufacturing organizations while delivering operational excellence, outstanding customer satisfaction, and strong financial performance. What You'll Do

As General Manager, you will lead the overall strategy, performance, and execution of one of ZT's flagship manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across manufacturing, warehousing, engineering, quality, logistics, and customer fulfillment while supporting continued growth and scalability.

You will:

  • Lead all site operations, including manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, planning, quality, engineering, and customer fulfillment.
  • Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Build and develop a high-performing leadership team focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain scalable operating systems, processes, and performance management practices.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, capacity expansion, and manufacturing readiness initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Customer Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, digital manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure protection of customer intellectual property and compliance with all regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and executive stakeholders while delivering world-class customer experiences.
  • Own site financial performance, including productivity, cost management, inventory, and operational efficiency targets.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing, warehousing, quality, engineering, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
  • Create a culture that puts people first, promotes ownership, and fosters collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that support growth, scalability, and customer success.
  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain operations, and warehouse activities.
  • Lead capital investment planning, facility improvements, automation initiatives, and capacity expansion projects.
  • Establish meaningful KPIs and reporting systems to drive visibility, accountability, and performance.
  • Ensure successful product launches, production ramps, and new customer implementations.
  • Develop organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, customer, and quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience leading manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, quality, engineering, and supply chain functions.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, process control, and operational best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing automation, digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and warehouse technology solutions.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, capital investments, and operational performance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field required.
  • MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in complex, high-technology environments.
  • 10+ years leading large-scale manufacturing operations, business units, campuses, or multiple sites.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale infrastructure, cloud, AI, server, storage, networking, or related technology markets preferred.
  • Proven success leading manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, quality, and engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience driving operational excellence, facility growth, automation initiatives, and organizational transformation.
  • Global manufacturing and supply chain experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
