Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Watertown, CT
Salary: $80k - $90k Base + Bonus
We've partnered with a growing automotive manufacturing organization looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations, troubleshooting efforts, new equipment implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
This is a strong fit for engineers who enjoy being hands-on within manufacturing operations, solving production challenges, supporting equipment-related projects, and working closely with production, maintenance, and controls teams to improve performance across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and provide engineering support for production equipment and processes
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve uptime, quality, and efficiency
• Partner with Controls Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to identify and resolve equipment and process-related issues
• Support new product launches, equipment installations, and commissioning activities
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety, quality, and cost reduction
• Work with external machine builders, vendors, and contractors on equipment modifications and manufacturing projects
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process-related documentation

Ideal Background (What they're looking for):
• Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related manufacturing experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting production operations, manufacturing processes, or plant-floor equipment
• Comfortable working directly with operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams
• Exposure to equipment launches, process improvements, automation, or manufacturing projects is a plus
• Team is open to a range of experience levels and is looking for individuals who are eager to learn and continue developing within manufacturing engineering
